I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
